FALLING SKIES opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. Few survivors have banded together to begin the difficult task of fighting back.

In the Falling Skies episode, 'On Thin Ice, Season 3 opens seven months following the group's arrival in Charleston, S.C. Tom (Noah Wyle) has been elected to office, yet one of his decisions creates tension; Hal (Drew Roy) deals with vivid nightmares; and Tom and Anne (Moon Bloodgood) prepare for their baby. The concluding episode, 'Collateral Damage,' airs at 10/9C. Hostilities against the invaders amplify as a nuclear specialist devises a scheme to destroy the aliens' power. Meanwhile, suspicions grow about a mole inside the resistance; the leaders make a crucial decision; Anne (Moon Bloodgood) has concerns about her newborn.
