CHAOS - New Drama Preview

CHAOS is a new comedic drama about a group of rogue CIA spies starring Eric Close, Tim Blake Nelson, Freddy Rodriguez, and James Murray. It all starts Friday April 1st on CBS!

CBS Chaos site

Edit: March 3 update from CBS:

"Pilot" - After his new job at the CIA is cut on day one, Rick Martinez is enlisted by the CIA Deputy Director to be a mole in a team of unruly agents that he would love to fire. But, when the agents end up getting dirt on Rick, he's forced to play by their rules, on the series premiere of CHAOS, Friday, April 1 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

CHAOS is a comedic drama about a group of rogue CIA spies in the Clandestine Administration and Oversight Services (CHAOS) who combat threats to national security amidst bureaucratic gridlock, rampant incompetence and political infighting. The team tackles high-risk foreign intelligence missions using manipulation, deception and wit to succeed. Rick Martinez was dismayed when his dream job as a spy was eliminated on his first day; however, CIA Deputy Director H.J. Higgins, a calculating mastermind and the head of CHAOS, recognizes Rick's unique skill set and places him as an unwitting mole inside the department. Martinez joins the team under Michael Dorset, a psychologist-turned-CIA operative and a tactical genius motivated by pure paranoia. Working with Dorset is Scottish-born Billy Collins, decommissioned from the British Secret Service and deported from the United Kingdom; and Casey Malick, a 12-year veteran of the agency with an understated demeanor and the ability to transform into a "human weapon." While Martinez's instincts about who he can trust are constantly tested, he seems to have a worthy confidante in the new Deputy Director, Adele Ferrer, who appears to have his best interest at heart. Or, should he rely on officer Fay Carson, an alluring agent and an expert at deciphering people's "tells"? Attacking each assignment with unparalleled confidence and gusto, these operatives perform covert operations, exert political influence and eradicate all manner of evil - and that's just to survive the morning staff meeting.

Cast includes Freddy Rodriguez, Eric Close, Tim Blake Nelson, James Murray, Carmen Ejogo, Christina Cole and Kurtwood Smith.

Guest stars include Rick Overton, Margo Martindale, Alessandro Juliani, Molly Hagan, Ilia Volok, Frank Bruynbroek, Adam Godley, Bambadjan Bamba, John Shaw and Tommy Europe.

SCIFI AND TV TALK: Warehouse 13's Joanne Kelly - A Matter Of Trust

01/19/2011

In Warehouse 13‘s pilot episode, United States Secret Service Agent Myka Bering and fellow agent Pete Lattimer thwart an attack on the Mexican Ambassador’s daughter during a presidential visit to a Washington, D.C. museum. They are “rewarded” with a transfer to a top secret government facility in South Dakota where their new assignment is to help retrieve objects (or artifacts) that are potentially hazardous to the public. While Pete’s curiosity is slightly piqued at the prospect, Myka feels her skills could be better used elsewhere. When, however, she is offered a choice in the matter, the agent opts to stay put, and while it takes her a little while to get used to things, actress Joanne Kelly, who plays Myka, could not wait to dive in.

Photobucket

“There are some characters that you have to work a lot harder to get, while others almost seem like they’ve been written for you, and I felt that way about this one,” says Kelly. “Myka felt really ‘easy’ for me and it all just worked. It was the casting director for Warehouse 13who originally asked me to come in and read for the role. So I did the audition, then met with David Simkins, who I had worked with before on The Dresden Files. He was an executive producer on that series and is also one of the creators and executive producers on Warehouse 13. After that I met Jace Alexander, who directed the pilot, and [network] tested for the show.

“All in all it took probably about four months between the test and my getting the part and then waiting to hear if we were actually going to do it. Then we all shot the pilot together, which was a long time ago. From there, we waited almost a year before we began shooting the first season, but the first day of work on the pilot was like the first day of going to a new job. You wonder if you’re going to get along with everybody, you wonder if people are going to like you, and if you’re going to be good at what you do or if you’re going to fall flat on your face. It’s your first day at school, your first interview, your first job – I think all those feelings more or less come under the same umbrella...”

Unwilling to lose each other, Valerie and Peter are planning to run away together when they learn that Valerie's older sister has been killed by the werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their village. For years, the people have maintained an uneasy truce with the beast, offering the creature a monthly animal sacrifice. But under a blood red moon, the wolf has upped the stakes by taking a human life. Hungry for revenge, the people call on famed werewolf hunter, Father Solomon (Gary Oldman), to help them kill the wolf. But Solomon's arrival brings unintended consequences as he warns that the wolf, who takes human form by day, could be any one of them. 9/8c Fox

Not for the squeamish, Bones has never shied away from showing the gruesome aspects of crime scenes or the gooey nature of examining corpses for clues. Well, this episode is no exception, because when an unrecognizable body is discovered in the shower of a socialite's home, let's just say that Booth, Brennan and Cam become immersed in their work. But this mess may not compare to the one Booth creates by finally telling Hannah the history of his complicated relationship with Brennan.
