Raised on the streets of turn-of-the century London, orphaned Peter and his pals survive by their fearless wits as cunning young pickpockets. Now, they've been rounded up by their mentor Jimmy Hook to snatch a priceless, some believe, magical treasure which transports them to another world. Neverland is a realm of white jungles and legendary mysteries of eternal youth, where unknown friends and enemies snatched from time welcome the new travelers with both excitement and trepidation. These groups include a band of 18th century pirates led by the power-mad Elizabeth Bonny, and the Native American Kaw tribe led by a Holy Man, which has protected the secret of the tree spirits from Bonny and her gang for ages, and that has meant war. But as the fight to save this strange and beautiful world becomes vital, Hook, Peter, and the ragamuffin lost boys consider that growing old somewhere in time could be less important than growing up, right here in their new home called Neverland.

Warehouse 13 season 3

TV GUIDE: Matt's Picks of the Week: Monday, August 29, 2011

Aug 29, 2011
by Matt Roush

The summer TV season is winding down, but there's still plenty going on this week. A few annotated highlights:

... Warehouse 13

(Monday, 9/8c, Syfy)

From captain of a starship to regent of a Warehouse, hard to say if that's a promotion for Kate Mulgrew, but it's always good to see her back in the sci-fi world. She checks in to the whimsical fantasy hit for a four-episode arc as "Jane" (an homage to Voyager's Capt. Janeway, perhaps?), one of the embattled Regents who has a "complex past" with one of the Warehouse agents (I'm guessing Artie). The decisions she makes will play a key role in the survival of the Warehouse — which has already been renewed for another season, so don't get too worried.

DOCTOR WHO - SFX MAGAZINE: Daniel Mays Interview (Night Terrors)

The Ashes To Ashes and Outcasts actor guest stars in the next episode

by Dave Golder
August 27 2011

... Q: What can you tell us about “Night Terrors”?

Mays: “Night Terrors’, what it’s about? It’s a stand-alone story: it’s not really connected to the bigger arc of what’s going on in Doctor Who at the moment. It’s about a young boy primarily, called George. His parents are Alex and Claire, played by Emma Cunniffe. It’s a contemporary story set in a tower block, and George is an incredibly sort of nervous young chap of about eight years old. He seems to be absolutely petrified of everything. He can’t sleep; he imagines that there are voices coming from his wardrobe and that his toys are coming to life. He’s a got a really over-active imagination and his parents really are at the end of their tether with it really, particularly Alex. And so a Doctor is brought in to help the situation. I think Alex imagines or thinks that it’s going to be somebody from social services and all of a sudden the Doctor turns up and begins to help him and find out what’s causing these night terrors as the episode unfolds. But there’s other characters within the tower block and you get introduced to them as the episode unfolds as well...

'Jabberwock' - Syfy: Premieres September 10, 2011

Jabberwock

Premiering on Syfy on Saturday, September, 2011 - 'Jabberwock' -

Alec (Michael Worth), a courageous but impetuous knight, returns to his home village having been summoned by his older, more temperate brother Francis (Tahmoh Penikett). Finding Francis working in the family blacksmith shop, Alec learns that their elderly father Reginald is not long for this world. As they walk through the small town exchanging news, they spy two beautiful sisters, Anabel (Kacey Barnfield) and Isabel, whom the brothers have admired for some time. The brothers' reunion is short-lived as Cid wanders into the village, terrified and half-crazed. As the villagers gather round, Cid recounts a story of his attack by a winged creature. The onlookers scoff in disbelief, one remembering the myth of the fearsome Jabberwocky. As if on cue, the red-eyed monster's blood-curdling shriek is heard in the distance; the traveler Cid has led it to their peaceful home. The Jabberwocky descends upon them with the body of a dragon, the head of a gruesome insect and deadly claws. Brash Alec draws his sword and charges the beast, but to little effect. Francis joins the fray, convincing his brother of a more tactical approach as they battle together. But even together they are no match. The Jabberwocky snatches Isabel and moves off. At dawn the next day, the men of the village arm themselves and go off in search of the terrible scourge. Alec rides off with them while Francis remains to guard the village and tend to their ailing father. As the hunting party track their quarry, Francis takes to his workshop to fashion a new type of weapon: long and elegant, the prophesied Vorpal Sword. But before he finishes, he regrets his decision to remain behind and hurries to join his brother. Francis arrives just in time to rescue the cornered hunters, but as the group retreats Francis sees Alec is not with them. Fearing the worst, Francis breaks the news to his father. As the Jabberwocky launches a new attack on the village, Reginald seeks retribution for his son Alec, only to fall himself. But all is not lost as the cunning Alec returns having rescued Isabel from the Jabberwocky's cave. Alec has also stolen one of the Jabberwocky's eggs, evidence that this monster won't be the only one of its kind for long. Now the brothers must stand together, wield the Vorpal sword to save their home and the women they love, and avenge their father's death.

Cast includes Tahmoh Penikett, Michael Worth, Kacey Barnfield, Ian Virgo, Hugh Ross, Richard Riddell, Rafaello Degrutolla, with Steve Waddington.
