... You may have forgotten the cast's names and faces by now, so long has Stargate Universe been off our screens. But the sci-fi series returns to its second season on Monday, April 11th at 8:00pm on Sky1 in Deliverance. The series, sadly, won't live on past the remaining season 2 episodes, but we thought there was enough quality storytelling there to bear with the crew of Destiny and see it out with what will, hopefully, be a satisfying conclusion to an entertaining show.
As Camelot's new queen, Morgana (Katie McGrath) is a mean monarch, killing innocents and forcing Pendragon (Anthony Head) to watch. With Guinevere's (Angel Coulby) help, Sir Leon (Rupert Young) joins Arthur, Merlin, Elyan, Gaius and Gwaine (Bradley James, Colin Morgan, Adetomiwa Edun, Richard Wilson, Eoin Macken) in hiding. After Merlin finds the sword Excalibur, Arthur leads the group back to Camelot in the conclusion of the season finale, "Coming of Arthur."

Here's a blast from the past: a rebroadcast of this long-running, soon-to-end series' pilot, which introduces Tom Welling as the teenage Clark Kent and John Schneider and Annette O'Toole -- who played Lana Lang in the movie "Superman III" -- as his Earth parents, with Kristin Kreuk as Clark's beloved Lana and Michael Rosenbaum as the young Lex Luthor.
GAME OF THRONES - DORK SHELF: Kit Harington Video Interview
With the premiere of HBO’s epic fantasy series Game of Thrones less than two weeks away, the hype surrounding the show contiunues to increase. The sprawling TV adaptation, based on author George R. R. Martin’s revered A Song of Ice and Fire novels, is already winning rave reviews from critics and fans alike. The Shelf had the opportunity to see the first two episodes of the show earlier this week and came away very impressed.
Today we were lucky enough to speak with actor Kit Harington (in Toronto filming Silent Hill: Revelation), who plays Jon Snow in Game of Thrones. As the bastard son of Lord Eddard Stark (Sean Bean), Snow is the black sheep of his family. In an effort to find his place in the world, Jon joins the Night’s Watch; a once proud order of warriors dedicated to defending the northern reaches of the kingdom from an unknown threat. We discussed the audition process, the character of Jon Snow, the sprawling and illustrious cast, Thrones fan sites, and what he keeps on his dork shelf.
Game of Thrones premieres April 17, 2011 on HBO at 9/8C.
