HEMLOCK GROVE - SFP-NOW: KANDYSE MCCLUE AUDIO INTERVIEW - TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2013 AT 7/6C
For this episode of SFP-NOW we feature the lovely Kandyse McClure, who is best known for her role as Dualla in Battlestar Galactica.
During this interview Kandyse talks about her role in Hemlock Grove, which is a new show that starts in 2013 on Netflix.
Source: PR Newswire
Hemlock Grove cast includes Eliana Jones, Emilia McCarthy, Aaron Douglas, Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Marty Adams, Terra Nova's Landon Liboiron, Paul Popowich, William deVry, Bill SkarsgÄrd, Kandyse McClure and Lili Taylor.
Hemlock Grove, a gripping tale of murder, mystery and monsters set in a ravaged Pennsylvania steel town, starring Famke Janssen and Bill Skarsgard and produced by Gaumont International Television, will be available for Netflix members to watch instantly, beginning early in 2013.
Hemlock Grove starts with the body of a young girl, mangled and murdered in the shadow of the former Godfrey steel mill. Some suspect an escapee from the White Tower, a biotech facility owned by the former steel magnates. Others believe the killer could be Peter (Landon Liboiron), a 17-year-old Gypsy kid from the wrong side of the tracks, who tells his classmates he's a werewolf. Or it could be Roman (Skarsgard), the arrogant Godfrey scion, whose sister Shelley (Amazon Eve) is disturbingly deformed and whose mother, Olivia (Janssen), the otherworldly beautiful and controlling grand dame of Hemlock Grove.
As the crime goes unsolved and outlandish rumors mount, Peter and Roman decide to find the killer themselves, confronting unspeakable truths about themselves and Hemlock Grove as the mystery unfolds.

Stargate Universe - Let's Talk TV: Joseph Mallozzi LIVE Chat Part 2 Jan 2 '13
Source: Blog Talk Radio's Let's Talk TV
LET'S TALK TV: JOSEPH MALLOZZI LIVE CHAT PART TWO - WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 2, 2013 AT 9PM ET
Stargate Universe producer-writer Joseph Mallozzi will be joining for our part two of our Stargate Universe Retrospective.
SGU is the third in the Stargate television franchise, and the one that real got to me. It's intelligent, dark and serious, and since I first came across it a year ago (after it had been off the air a few months), it just grabbed me and hasn't let go.
Gateworld, the place for all things Stargate has been hosting a Stargate Universe re-watch the past two months, and I have been slowly posting episode commentaries over on the Let's Talk TV Blog.
Joseph Mallozzi, one of the creative minds behind the franchise (and SGU, of course) will join me live for a discussion of this series that went off the air prematurely.
SGU, follows the survivors of an attack aboard the Ancient starship Destiny. The series stars Robert Carlyle, Louis Ferreira, and David Blue.
This week, the focus is on Season 2 and what, if anything, the future may bring. Due to the New Years Holiday, we'll be broadcasting live Wednesday at 9:00 ET.

Continuum - The Province - Roger Cross Interview

THE PROVINCE: Actor cross skips between TV sets
By Glen Schaefer
December 30, 2012
It’s been a crazy 2012 for Vancouver actor Roger Cross. 2013 is shaping up as more of the same as he juggles work on no less than three TV series...
... Cross started out 2012 with work on Continuum, another Canadian series, playing one of those ambiguous bad-guys — a terrorist leader from the future whose gang comes to present-day Vancouver to thwart a future corporate dictatorship.
Continuum was a ratings hit when it debuted on Canada’s Showcase and was picked up for broadcast in the U.S. and Europe.
The work piled up further for Cross when, during a break in his Continuum schedule last spring, the actor filmed the pilot episode for the Vancouver-filmed CW series Arrow. That comic book-based U.S. series went into production in July and filming will continue to next April...
Roger R. Cross and Tony Amendola from Continuum
... And as 2013 approaches, Continuum has announced a mid-January start on four months filming for its second season. So from then until the end of February, Cross will be hop-scotching between three sets. [Continuum, Arrow, and Motive.]
“In January is when it gets really dicey,” he says. “I have the feeling the first few episodes of Continuum will look a little busy.”
Nevertheless, Cross is gratified that two of his three series are home-grown Canadian.
“We have the talent here, but everyone’s been shipped everywhere else,” he says. “Now to see it all come together, that’s what I love about this town, we’re competing with everyone.”
Continuum premieres in the US on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 8/7C. Cast includes Rachel Nichols, Victor Webster, Erik Knudsen, Stephen Lobo, Richard Harmon, Roger R. Cross, Stargate SG-1's Tony Amendola, Brian Markinson and Stargate Universe's Jennifer Spence.
Arrow airs on Wednesday at 8/7C on The CW.
Motive airs in Canada on CTV.

TV WORTH WATCHING: BEST BETS MONDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2012
... THE WALKING DEAD MARATHON
AMC, 9:00 p.m. ET
For years, I’ve called the week between Christmas and New Year’s a “dead week” for television – but I didn’t expect AMC to take the concept so literally. Beginning at 9 a.m. ET today and occupying all of New Year’s Day as well, the network repeats, in order, the first three seasons of The Walking Dead in their entirety. Expect a lot of death, and I’m not just talking about the zombie “walkers” – but expect a lot of acting and writing brilliance, as well.
[NOTE: Actually, it's only season three of The Walking Dead being shown in the marathon. - Kelly]
