The Fae featured in Lost Girl are mythological creatures that writers referenced from real-life folklore. Throughout the series, the Fae live among humans and feed off of some type of human emotion or energy. Most have evolved to a point where they can pass as human while others remain physically hidden from the human world, since they can only take the form of actual creatures, such as spiders.
The Fae represent the reality behind many of the myths and the folklore of global cultures including Irish, Native American, African and Chinese. Read on to discover a lineup of legendary creatures you'll be meeting during Bo's adventures in the world of the Fae.
Lost Girl premieres on Syfy on January 16, 2012 at 10/9C.
Cast includes Anna Silk, Kris Holden-Ried, Ksenia Solo, Richard Howland, Zoie Palmer and K.C. Collins.

Missing The Walking Dead? Chiller's first original movie, set in Reno after a backfiring "nuke oven" fries nearly everyone's brains, is also based on a comic book and has plenty of flesh-eating zombies and mismatched survivors. Just don't expect AMC production values or (other than The Wire'sLance Reddick) decent acting.
