... AND THAT'S THE TRUTH: Even if you don't remember Edith Ann or the other Laugh-In characters that put her on the map, Lily Tomlin is a bona fide legend — and now she's part of the NCIS family. McGee's family, to be precise. Tonight (CBS, 8/7c), in the stunt casting of the week, she plays the former probie's grandmother, who's implicated in the murder of a Navy lieutenant. It's just a shame that Henry Gibson isn't still around to recite a poem for the occasion.

BOSTON HERALD: Jason O’Mara lured back to TV by Fox’s sci-fi ‘Terra Nova’

When “Life on Mars” ended in 2009 after only one season, Jason O’Mara was ready for some time away from the TV business.
“I was a little disillusioned at the end,” O’Mara told the Herald recently in Beverly Hills. “I put so much into it, and we didn’t quite get there. Another show of mine that didn’t get to a second season, so I sort of wanted to take a break from all that.”
He spent the next year doing a play in London and a sketch comedy show in his native Ireland...
The death of a Marine in a car explosion has Sam (LL Cool J) working under cover as a bomb specialist as the team tries to track down any additional explosives that might be out there. Hunter (Claire Forlani) shakes things up by partnering Callen (Chris O'Donnell) with Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Sam with Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) in the new episode "Backstopped."

Sarah Wayne Callies was so popular on the FOX series "Prison Break" that fans demanded her character be brought back... even though she'd been decapitated. Now Sarah is running from zombies on AMC's "The Walking Dead."
The series takes place in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse and follows a small group of survivors as they search for a home away from the "walkers."
Sarah's character, "Lori Grimes," is a fiercely protective mother who is married to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), the leader of the group.
In this GDLA interview Sarah talks to us about the series, her fear of zombies, and being a mommy.
"The Walking Dead" premieres on AMC this Sunday at 9pm.
