ACCESS HOLLYWOOD: Game Of Thrones: Liam Cunningham Discusses His 'Extraordinary' Battle Scene
Liam Cunningham talks with Access about filming his massive battle sequence in "Game of Thrones." Also, how many people have been bugging him to reveal details about the HBO series? Plus, what do his children think of the show?
This 1961 version of Henry James’ moody The Turn of the Screw captures all the atmospheric creepiness of the original story, along with all the ambiguity that comes with telling a ghost story where the ghosts may or may not exist. Deborah Kerr stars as the governess who comes to suspect that the children in her charge have been possessed by former employees of the estate. Jack Clayton directs, very effectively.

... Kicking off a month of proudly amateurish Saturday night schlock-fest movies, Syfy goes for wish fulfillment in the as-silly-as-it-sounds Jersey Shore Shark Attack (9/8c), but doesn't go far enough in terms of body count, as strutting "Guidos" and loathsome preppies take on a flotilla of hungry albino sharks awakened by waterfront drilling. With characters named "The Complication" and "Nooki," I know which species I was rooting for...

SCIFI MOVIE MARATHON - TCM: SCHEDULE THURSDAY, JUNE 29, 2012
06:00 AM The Time Machine (1960)
This smashing science-fiction adaptation of H.G. Wells's famous novel has more creativity in every frame than most latter-day rip-offs have in their entirety. Rod Taylor plays George, an inventor who confounds his contemporaries in Victorian England by unveiling his new time machine. His friends think he's lost his mind, but after they leave, George takes off in his machine, whizzing through time but not through space. Therefore, all of his adventures take place in the same general area of England but at various points in history. Oscar-winning special effects.

CLASSIC HORROR MOVIE MARATHON - TCM: SCHEDULE FRIDAY, JUNE 15, 2012
TCM PRIMETIME - WHAT'S ON TONIGHT: DIRECTED BY HONDA INOSHIRO
8:00 PM Gojira (1954)
One of the longest-running series in film history began with Ishiro Honda's grim, black-and-white allegory for the devastation wrought on Japan by the atomic bomb. As his visual metaphor, Honda uses a 400-foot-tall mutant dinosaur called Gojira, awakened from the depths of the sea as a rampaging nuclear nightmare, complete with glowing dorsal fins and fiery, radioactive breath. Crushing ships, villages, and buildings in his wake, Gojira marches toward Tokyo, bringing all of the country's worst nightmares back until an evil more terrible bomb -- capable of sucking all the oxygen from the sea -- returns the monster to its watery grave. The original film is chilling, despite some rather unconvincing man-in-a-suit special effects.
Cast includes Fuyuki Murakami, Momoko Kochi and Takashi Shimura.
9:45 PM Rodan (1957)
A humungous flying reptile is hatched in a coal mine, eats a swarm of oversized dragonflies, and wreaks havoc on the unsuspecting citizens of Japan. Miners uncover the nest of a giant pterodactyl. Colossal pterodactyl hatches in mine, later goes on destructive rampage in Tokyo. Colorful comic book stuff, all too typical of Toho Studios' monster formula.
Cast includes Kenji Sawara, Yumi Shirakawa, Akihiko Hirata, Akio Kobori.

It's a giant moth threatening creation. After Godzilla kills a legendary giant moth, its offspring set out for revenge.
