Alphas' actors Ryan Cartwright, Azita Ghanizada and Warren Christie tweeted the cancellation alert on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, followed shortly thereafter by a news report from The Hollywood Reporter.

PRIMEVAL: NEW WORLD

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Canada's Space Channel cancelled their new scifi series, Primeval: New World. At the time of the article, Syfy (in the US), was still planning on airing the series during the Summer of 2013.

Entertainment Weekly reported on March 1, 2013, that ABC had cancelled the new series after three episodes.

    Networks have been known to change their minds or movies come out to finish off series, like Farscape.

  2. Primeval original WAY better than disappointing New World. Maybe they can try again later - different writers, cast, spin-off, In kindergarten, my brother and I walked to the Toronto Royal Ontario Museum every weekend, knew how to spell Tyrannosaurus Rex since then (mummy exhibit we spelled hieroglyphics). Lifelong fascination with dinosaurs is common starting with kids, yes? Maybe cancellations are good - make time available for new shows like SHIELD.
