In a world where all children between the ages of 8 and 16 are controlled by extraterrestrial beings, there might not be a better gift to your dad than saying, “Hey, pops—isn’t it great we don’t live in the Falling Skies universe?” Of course, that wouldn’t brighten the day of the alien-resistance leader played by Noah Wyle, so maybe Les Chappell will give Wyle’s Tom Mason a gaudy Father’s Day tie in the form of a charitable review for this sci-fi series’ second-season debut.

Weaver (Will Patton) is still in command of the 2nd Mass, but Pope (Colin Cunningham) has taken charge of the Berserkers, a renegade group within the unit that has yet to earn Weaver's trust. Similar questions surround Tom when he returns. The rift between Hal and Ben (Drew Roy, Connor Jessup) widens in "Worlds Apart."
A man and his award-winning horses perish in a barn fire that appears to be a suicide. Longmire (Robert Taylor) suspects differently, however, and as he and his colleagues investigate, they realize the victim's family has some long-buried secrets that hold the key to solving the case. Season Premiere: TNT’s grim alien-invasion drama returns to Earth this week for a sophomore season, with “ER’s” Noah Wyle starring as college professor-turned-human resistance leader Tom Mason. Last we saw Tom, he was boarding an alien spacecraft, offering himself as a sacrifice to save his son, Ben. He returns on the premiere, but the rest of the group questions his loyalty as Pope leads a mutiny within the 2nd Mass unit.
At Supanova 2012 in Sydney we got a chance to chat with Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen. Alfie Allen is best known for his role as Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones, as well as following up Daniel Radcliffe's role in Equus on the stage.
