MACGYVER - NOVA LIVE (AUSTRALIA): RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON AUDIO INTERVIEW
Richard Dean Anderson, aka Angus MacGyver, is in town for Oz Comicon and its fair to say we were a little bit excited to talk to him. Turns out Nathan knew more about MacGyver, Stargate and The Simpsons than Richard himself.
THE WORLD NEEDS RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON ON FAMILY GUY
He’s been MacGyver to one generation, and Lt. Gen. Jack O’Neill to another, and now Nathan, Nat and Shaun want to get Richard Dean Anderson to star on Family Guy.
Nathan, Nat and Shaun spoke to Richard ahead of his appearance at Oz Comic-Con at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
Richard recalled his appearance on The Simpsons, telling the guys, “I swear, my life was made complete when Dan Castellaneta asked me to be a part of an episode, and I just swooned and did it.”
Richard is a big fan of Family Guy creator Sean MacFarlane’s work, “I think he’s a genius. I’m so impressed with his talent. His endless talent”
So, on Richard’s behalf, and with his personal endorsement, Nathan, Nat and Shaun have started a Twitter campaign to get him on Family Guy with the hashtag: #getRDAonfamilyguy

TV EQUALS: Exclusive Interview: Reggie Lee aka Sgt Wu Talks Grimm Season 2 Returning Episodes
By Monique Jones
March 8, 2013
Grimm is coming back to NBC this March, and TV Equals had a fun time talking with Sergeant Wu himself, Reggie Lee, about his role on the show, what fans can look forward to from this new action-packed season and a brief conversation about a very risque moment coming up on the show. Grimm airs March 8 at 9/8c...
... TV Equals: What will Sargent Wu be up to this season?
Reggie Lee: "This particular season, especially at the tail end of this season, there’s a lot of action and we get into a lot. This [upcoming] episode…is just whip-action from one [thing] to the next. Everything comes to a head, especially between the captain and Nick. I am the first one at the scene…at Juliette’s house and, boy, there are literally and figuratively cracks in the wall. So I [as Sargent Wu] don’t know what the hell has happened, but we get to figure it out. There are a lot of alliances that have formed between us and a lot that are torn down. So Sargent Wu gets very much into the action–a lot of the fighting action, a lot of the action coming up in the last part of the season.
I just did several stunts last week. The email that I got in my inbox, “Reggie, are you afraid of really high heights?” and I said, “What kind of really high heights?” And they said, “Oh, it’s not that high. It’s only several stories high.” But, it’s fun…it’s kind of been Nick and Hank doing a lot of that stuff and I’m kind of feeding them the information and helping them solve crimes and all that kind of stuff, but now…as we go on, there’s no way they can do it without integrating everyone into the action. The mythology is a whole other thing because I think Sargent Wu is the only one out of the loop within the entire cast…I think he’s kind of oblivious, but all of that kind of makes him fun and funny to play…It’s a nice balance to the show. But I can tell you that Sargent Wu does see creatures coming up, in their true form, and how he reacts to that, you’ll just have to wait and find out...

COLLIDER: David Giuntoli Talks GRIMM and What Fans Can Expect, Including Big Fights, Roommates, Romance, Friendships, the Mother-Son Dynamic and More
by Christina Radish
March 8th, 2013
When the NBC drama series Grimm returns tonight, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) is back and ready for vengeance. After having learned what’s really been going on, Nick and Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) finally go head-to-head, while Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) and Renard’s undeniable attraction reaches dangerous new heights. The show also stars Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee and Bree Turner.
During this recent exclusive interview with Collider, show star David Giuntoli talked about where things will pick back up, the big fight he had to shoot with co-star Sasha Roiz, how Nick and Captain Renard have to still find a way to work together, what kind of roommate Nick will make for Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), what it was like to get to explore the mother-son dynamic with actress Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, how much he’s enjoyed the change in the Nick-Hank (Russell Hornsby) dynamic, who else he’d love to find out about Nick’s secret, and what he’d like to see from the Nick-Juliette relationship...
... Collider: Is there anyone else that you’re hoping will find out about Nick’s secret?
David Giuntoli: "Yes, Wu (Reggie Lee)! My god! Bring Wu into the fold! Season 3! I always think that at least a sub-sect of the precinct will become this monster-fighting task force, and Wu would have to be involved, at some point. Reggie is great. What he does with his lines and what little he’s given, he’s highly respected..."
... Collider: How much fun was it to have Adalind (Claire Coffee) come back and cause more trouble?
Giuntoli: "She’s so fun to work with. Adalind is this crazy, literally soulless woman. What a perfect nemesis! And Claire has a weird flirtation with Nick. She enjoys being mean and evil. It’s strange to sit across the table with this woman who’s enjoying creating havoc. She had so much fun with it... "

March 2013
by: Lisa Steinberg
... Q) Bitsie. I heard there’s a love scene that required a lot of rehearsal. Can you talk about how that fits in and why it took so long?
Bitsie: "It took so long because we had to have a stunt coordinator sort of help us out, particularly me. I’m sort of known among the cast members. I don’t know, Sasha, what would you say?"
Sasha: "She’s a little clumsy."
Bitsie: "Yes and that love scene also got edited down massively but when we were actually shooting it, it took something like eight-and-a-half hours to get through which is incredibly long for basically one scene because it was so complicated and it did require such coordination."
Sasha: "That said, Bitsie always want a stunt coordinator there when she has a love scene so who knows."
Bitsie: "That’s right, that’s my style."
Sasha: "Yes, no, but it was intense. I mean I think it was definitely a shocker for us when we read it because we didn’t believe - we really didn’t believe it when we read it. We thought it was a bit of a joke. But they went there."
Bitsie: "It was so intense that we thought it was a joke. We literally thought it was a joke that when we read the script. We were like, ha-ha, where’s our real script?"
Sasha: "I think it came out well. I haven’t seen it but I presume it came out well..."

Grimm
(NBC, 9 p.m., Friday)
Once upon a time, NBC had a show that didn’t do incredibly well, but at least held its own, kept the lights on on a night when very few people watch TV, and attracted a rather fervent fanbase of people who know its mythology inside and out. Naturally enough, NBC pulled the show from its schedule for several months to show two-hour editions of Dateline NBC. Because that’s what you do when you’re a thriving, first-place… oh, they’re not? Well, that’s really unfortunate. Kevin McFarland thinks it’s almost as if the people who run NBC make bad business decisions!

... GRIMM
NBC, 9:00 p.m. ET
MIDSEASON RETURN: Not since The X-Files carved out a large and loyal Friday night following on Fox has this night been a springboard for genre series, rather than an impatient launch pad for eventual cancellation. (Think Fringe. Think Dollhouse. Think of a lot of shows.) Well, even though the prospects may be grim, here comes Grimm, returning at midseason, picking up where it left off. And where did it lead off? With two of its characters, Renard (Sasha Roiz) and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch), under a mutual love spell cast by a witch. Their judgment, like the photo [at the link above], is a bit blurry.

A Daily Guide To Notable Shows
... Grimm
9-10 PM NBC
Grimm wakes up from an epic winter nap with a game changer that redefines the relationship between Wesen hunter Nick (David Giuntoli) and his cop boss/ Wesen royal, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz). But beforehand, the enchanted, mutually unwanted love connection between Renard and Nick's lady, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch), explodes with kisses, pummeling, and gunplay. Just your typical date night in fairy-tale-noir city. Rosalee (Bree Turner) returns, Adalind (Claire Coffee) makes a discovery, and a guy turns into an owl, as season 2 launches toward an endgame that promises to be an apocalyptic hoot.
RATING: B+

TV GUIDE: VIDEO: Grimm Returns with More Shirtless Rage and Morphing Madness
Mar 7, 2013
by Hanh Nguyen
When NBC's Grimm returns for its spring premiere Friday at 9/8c, Nick (David Giuntoli) has just discovered that his girlfriend Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) has been seeing his boss Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) on the sly. And even though Nick is a Grimm, Renard is half Hexenbiest, which makes for quite a matchup in this world. While Grimms are known for trouncing Wesen, fans of the show know that Renard is known for his rage — shirtless rage that is.
Check out ... [the] exclusive video [at the link above] of the cast discussing the origins of shirtless rage, hashtags and the evolution of Nick's unique Grimm skill. Continue reading for more scoop on Grimm's return:
David Giuntoli, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz and some slightly used Wesen
... TV GUIDE: What is Nick's mental state when we come back?
David Giuntoli: "I am very angry, torn apart, kind of devastated in a guy-girl kind of way. I want to confront [Renard] in some way. Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) always wants to try to stop me. He doesn't know quite what I'm going to do."
Silas Weir Mitchell: "It makes me very nervous. God only knows what he might do. He could get killed, he could kill somebody. I know it's tough for him. I want to help him, but I can't. He's a loose cannon."
Giuntoli: "And coming up in the season, we see that Nick's got more than just good fighting skills. He has some quasi-superhuman abilities..."
... TV GUIDE: What else can we expect to see? Any new Wesen?
Bitsie Tulloch: "We have a very modern, cool take on Rumplestiltskin, which is awesome. They're also doing one, which is sort of a take on Mr. Sandman that involves some parasites."
Sasha Roiz: "But it's a very, very violent and grotesque Mr. Sandman version, as we do."
Silas Weir Mitchell: "Really gory, ugly stuff that's just really kind of great."
David Giuntoli: "I still want to see a Schnietmache ... I think it might be like a Snuffleupagus kind of moment, where he just leaves the room before I get in there. "What? Where's the Schnietmache?""
