This week, the new Torchwood team of Jack (John Barrowman), Gwen (Eve Myles), Rex (Mekhi Phifer) and Esther (Alexa Havins) swings into action -- and discover that an international pharmaceutical company called PhiCorp had advance warning of the Miracle.
When the team splits up, Rex turns to Vera (Arlene Tur) for solace, while Gwen finds out more about Esther's family history.
Oswald (Bill Pullman) succumbs to Jilly's (Lauren Ambrose) charms and is taken in to meet the PhiCorp executives -- at the same time Gwen enters the building on a secret mission.
And Jack's focus on Oswald leads him towards a deadly meeting.
