In Part 1 of a two-part chilling revival of the 1978-79 series, Adama (Edward James Olmos) and Galactica are called back to service after a genocidal Cylon attack destroys the 12 Colonies. Meanwhile, survivors regroup under Adama's estranged son Apollo (Jamie Bamber) and the new president (Mary McDonnell).
