SANITARIUM - WFAA: LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS VIDEO INTERVIEW

UT Arlington alum Lou Diamond Phillips talks about his horror anthology "Sanitarium" which is being screened at the Dallas International Film Festival.
Sanitarium blends together the maddening stories of three mental institution patients. Each tale is tied together by Dr. Stenson (Malcolm McDowell), the primary physician at the Sanitarium institution, who comments on the recent arrival of the patients. As Dr. Stenson speaks, the individual’s back story begins, and we see in frightening detail what lead them to their crazed states of mind. With elements from “The Twilight Zone,” “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” and “Tales from the Crypt,” Sanitarium focuses on the paranormal, inexplicable and the downright horrifying.
Sanitarium cast includes Longmire's Lou Diamond Phillips, John Glover, Malcolm McDowell, Robert Englund, David Mazouz, Chris Mulkey, Mayra Leal, Nova Aragon, Ryder Maldonado, Walter Perez and Joseph Rivera.
Sanitarium is scheduled for release this Fall in theaters.
Also, discussed is the new film, Filly Brown.
Cast includes Gina Rodriguez, Jenni Rivera, Longmire's Lou Diamond Phillips, Battlestar Galactica's Edward James Olmos, Emilio Rivera and Noel Gugliemi.
Filly Brown opens in limited release on April 19, 2013.
