The new episode "Mystery of Easter Island" explores recent claims that challenge decades of previous thinking about the former Easter Islanders and how they built those giant stone statues. Among the radical new theories is that they used ropes to "walk" the statues upright, and "NOVA" puts this theory to the test using a 15-ton replica statue.
