The saga of the Grave Digger, aka Heather Taffet (Deirdre Lovejoy), has hung over the Jeffersonian like a dark cloud. But in this episode, directed by David Boreanaz, when the twisted killer is en route to the final appeal of her death sentence, a sniper's bullet makes sure this plotline is buried once and for all. Her demise may come as a relief to the team, but that doesn't mean they're out of the woods yet, because the mysterious marksman plans to make one of them his next target.
