After a year in the Cretaceous period, Abby and Conner escape back to present day in the Season 4 opener. They are greeted by a new ARC team, and find out that their jobs may be in jeopardy after being away for so long.

Connor reunites with an old friend and is surprised to learn he's obsessed with creature sightings. The pair track down an elusive boar crocodile that's been terrorizing the docks and they find evidence of a fresh kill.
