HAVEN - CINEMASPY: Haven Has More Questions than Answers for Emily Rose
By Michael Simpson
July 15, 2011
In this, the second of the Q&As we are bringing you to mark the premiere of Season Two of Haven on Syfy and Showcase, series star Emily Rose talks about working in the rainy but beautiful seaside village of Chester, Nova Scotia, how her character faces the challenge of coming to terms with a loss of identity and how she learned to take care of herself, especially if armed with a tube of cover-up...
... In Haven, Rose plays Audrey Parker, who initially comes to the titular seaside town in Maine on an investigation for the FBI. Intrigued, however, by a photograph she discovers that seems to show her in the town many years earlier, she decides to stay and try to solve the mystery. But her pursuit of answers throughout Season One only makes things murkier, especially when she realizes that she might not even be who she thought she was when she arrived...
... Q: What was it like to work with Jason Priestley this season and what does he bring to the show?

Not only is he a great actor to work alongside, he’s a really great director and I go to work with him in that capacity as well. He directed one of our episodes this season and so it was just great. There was no pretense and there was no… He’s just so down to earth that it was fun to work alongside him and it gave a new dynamic between Nathan and Audrey and Duke and Audrey. It’s just interesting to play with that..."
