All-new episodes of Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple and Zen premiere on PBS in the MASTERPIECE MYSTERY! summer of intrigue -- starting June 19, 2011.

Agatha Christie’s beloved characters return to this season’s MASTERPIECE MYSTERY! lineup, featuring the suave Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (David Suchet) and the charming spinster sleuth Miss Marple (Julia McKenzie)

Jun 19 Poirot: “Three Act Tragedy”

Murder takes center stage when an eclectic cast of characters attends a deadly party, and Poirot must investigate not one death, but two. Art Malik (Upstairs Downstairs) co-stars.

Jun 26 Poirot: “The Clocks”

Hercule Poirot is summoned to Dover to investigate something even more sinister than the British Navy's suspicion of espionage: murder! Tom Burke (Dracula) guest stars.

Jul 3 Poirot: “The Hallowe’en Party”

Apple-bobbing turns fatal at a Halloween party when a girl who claims to have seen a murder becomes a murder victim. Zoƫ Wanamaker returns as Ariadne Oliver in this Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) adaptation.

Jul 10 Marple: “The Pale Horse”

Miss Marple seeks justice, armed with little more than a mysterious list of names sent by an old friend only moments before he was murdered. JJ Feild (Northanger Abbey) guest stars.

What does an honest cop do when his bosses are on the side of the lawbreakers? Detective Aurelio Zen brings justice to modern-day Italy—whether the authorities want it or not. This trio of spellbinding cases, based on the bestselling novels by Michael Dibdin, stars Rufus Sewell (Middlemarch).

Jul 17 “Vendetta”

Solving a politically-charged murder and winning a beautiful woman's heart nearly prevents Zen from learning that he is the object of a psychopath's murderous vendetta. With Stanley Townsend (Sherlock).

Jul 24 “Cabal”

When a playboy plummets from a bridge, Zen must determine suicide or murder, all the while navigating the possible existence of a powerful shadowy conspiracy group. Ed Stoppard (Upstairs Downstairs) co-stars.

Jul 31 “Ratking”

When a set of kidnappers won't play by the rules, Zen must work against the clock — and his tyrannical new boss — to save the life of a politically powerful industrialist. Ben Miles (The Forsyte Saga) co-stars.
