BBC AMERICA is counting down each Doctor in new specials leading up to the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who. In February, the special celebrates the Second Doctor, Patrick Troughton, who brought a new energy to the series and his most iconic foes, the Cybermen. Lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, executive producer Caroline Skinner, Tenth Doctor David Tennant, Doctor Who and Torchwood star John Barrowman revisit the Second Doctor’s work. Joining them are two of the Second Doctor’s companions, Frazer Hines,who played the fearless Jamie McCrimmon, and Wendy Padbury, who played the mathematical scientist Zoe Heriot in Troughton’s final season as the Doctor. Following the new special, BBC AMERICA airs the chilling episode from Patrick Troughton’s second season Tomb of the Cybermen. Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited – The Second Doctor premieres Sunday, February 24, 8:00pm ET/PT.
