A blogger with a rep for exposing cover ups is murdered. His last blog involved a bungled NCIS investigation. The team investigates as best they can, while Metro PD investigates the blogger's NCIS claims.

06:00 PM CODE OF CONDUCT
A Marine who was a practical joker is found dead on Halloween, and the team believes his death may have been a grave payback for one of his pranks.

07:00 PM OUTLAWS AND IN-LAWS
An investigation into the murders of two mercenaries who were found on Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) boat reunites Gibbs with his old mentor, Mike Franks (Muse Watson).

08:00 PM GOOD COP, BAD COP
The remains of a murdered marine are found. He was last reported on the ship Ziva (Cote de Pablo) was on. Ziva must reveal what happened to her during her time away from NCIS. Her status will be resolved.

09:00 PM MOTHER'S DAY
Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is drawn into his past when his former mother-in-law, played by Gena Rowlands, witnesses the murder of a Navy captain.
