THANKSGIVING DAY JAMES BOND MOVIE MARATHON - SYFY: SCHEDULE THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2012
09:30 AM Octopussy
One of the sillier, but nonetheless exciting, James Bond outings, as 007 (Roger Moore in his sixth appearance) tries to stop a nuclear assault on NATO.
Cast includes Roger Moore, Maud Adams, Louis Jourdan, Kristina Wayborn, Kabir Bedi, Steven Berkoff, David Meyer, Tony Meyer, Desmond Llewelyn, Robert Brown, Lois Maxwell, Michaela Clavell and Walter Gotell.
12:30 PM License To Kill
Although James Bond purists will no doubt be dismayed by the drastic character change undergone by 007 in his 16th outing, LICENCE TO KILL offers a fresh look at the superspy, a new set of villains, and some of the most spectacular action sequences yet seen in the series. The film finds Bond (Timothy Dalton) in the Florida Keys for the wedding of his CIA buddy Felix Leiter (David Hedison). The happy event is interrupted, however, when Leiter and Bond make a detour to capture Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi), a notorious Colombian drug dealer. But that night Sanchez escapes with the help of a corrupt DEA agent (Anthony Zerbe).
Cast includes Timothy Dalton, Carey Lowell, Robert Davi, Talisa Soto, Anthony Zerbe, Frank McRae, David Hedison, Wayne Newton, Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Starke, Everett McGill, Desmond Llewelyn, Pedro Armendáriz Jr., Robert Brown, Priscilla Barnes, Don Stroud, Caroline Bliss and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
03:30 PM Goldeneye
Pierce Brosnan is introduced as James Bond in an action-packed story that has 007 trying to stop Russian rebels from destroying London's economy.
Cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Game of Thrones' Sean Bean, Izabella Scorupco, Famke Janssen, Joe Don Baker, Judi Dench, Robbie Coltrane, Alan Cumming, Tchéky Karyo, Desmond Llewelyn and Samantha Bond.
06:30 PM Tomorrow Never Dies
A slam-bang but conventionally plotted James Bond adventure pits 007 (Pierce Brosnan) against a crazed media mogul (Jonathan Pryce) who has instigated a military crisis between Great Britain and China.
Cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce, Michelle Yeoh, Teri Hatcher, Ricky Jay, Joe Don Baker, Vincent Schiavelli, Judi Dench, Desmond Llewelyn, Samantha Bond and Colin Salmon.
09:00 PM The World Is Not Enough
James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) protects an oil heiress (Sophie Marceau) from a terrorist (Robert Carlyle) who can't feel pain, and tries to prevent an attack on a trans-Asian pipeline.
Cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Sophie Marceau, Once Upon A Time's Robert Carlyle, Denise Richards, Robbie Coltrane, Judi Dench, Desmond Llewelyn, John Cleese, Samantha Bond, Michael Kitchen and Colin Salmon.
11:30 PM Die Another Day
James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) and an enigmatic spy named Jinx (Halle Berry) take on a madman with a satellite-laser weapon.
Cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, Toby Stephens, Rosamund Pike, Rick Yune, Judi Dench, John Cleese, Michael Madsen, Will Yun Lee and Kenneth Tsang.
