When Frank’s (Tom Selleck) close friend, a high-profile reporter, is almost assaulted while in town investigating a story, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Jackie (Jennifer Esposito) attempt to track down her would-be attacker. Meanwhile, Jamie’s (Will Estes) undercover case comes to a head.
Margaret Colin ("Gossip Girl") guest stars as Melanie Maines, Frank’s close friend and Tom Wopat ("The Dukes of Hazzard") guest stars as Craig Iverson, Melanie’s producer.
