HOLLYWOOD OUTBREAK: With ‘Terra Nova’ Stephen Lang Makes The Move From Heavy To Hero
Probably best known for his portrayal of the villainous Colonel Quaritch in James Cameron's sci-fi epic Avatar, actor Stephen Lang apparently underwent a change of heart when he signed-on to Steven Speilberg's high-profile sci-fi television series Terra Nova. As Commander Nathaniel Taylor, the hard-edged leader of a community of futuristic time-travelers locked in a prehistoric world, Lang gets a chance to display a “good heart” not often displayed in roles he’s taken in the past. Playing an on-screen hero may be a new thing for Lang but it’s obviously something he’s thought about. We sat down with the actor not too long ago to talk about his character on the series and his personal idea of what makes a hero.
