A Daily Guide To Notable Shows
... Chuck
8-9 PM NBC, SEASON PREMIERE
The first episode of the show's final run finds Chuck (Zachary Levi) and pals working as private-sector spies after weaning themselves off the government teat last season. Tea Partyers will be pleased! And so will fans, given the various pleasures here, which include Craig Kilborn as a Bernie Madoff-type scumbag and Morgan (Joshua Grimes) trying to help Chuck with the acronym-controversial operation "Toes in the Sand." As ever, it's difficult to care too much about what happens plotwise, but the result is a decent start to the show's victory lap/funeral parade.
Rated: B+
