Kiera investigates a serial killer case that she remembers studying, and plans to use her knowledge of the future to solve it. Her biggest obstacle...Carlos.
Kiera (Rachel Nichols) finds herself working with Carlos (Victor Webster) on a murder case, the work of a serial killer. She's not entirely unfamiliar with the case as she had studied it in 2077. One thing she knows is that the case was never solved despite there being a total of 38 victims. She knows the victims were all child molesters and that the bodies were left on an old semi-circular bus route. As she tries to convey this to Carlos, he simply can't understand where she is getting her information. Meanwhile, Alec's (Eric Knudsen) relationship with his new friend Emily (Magda Apanowicz) seems to be developing quite nicely. It's not as it appears however. Matthew Kellog (Stephen Lobo) is shocked when a potentially lucrative deals falls through. Dillon (Brian Markinson) introduces Kiera to the powerful businessman Mr. Escher (Hugh Dillon).

Alec (Erik Knudsen) is torn between telling the truth and staying true to his family, while Kiera and Carlos (Rachel Nichols, Victor Webster) race to stop a Liber8 plot to derail Julian's (Richard Harmon) trial.
