Another day, another apocalypse ... so it seems in many of today's horror tales, including this one, in which Earth has been ravaged by a phenomenon that has turned most of society into vampires. Ethan Hawke plays a medical expert who isn't immune to the crisis, but he has enough of his human self left to try to come up with a cure. Sam Neill and Willem Dafoe also appear in the better-than-average-for-this-sort-of-thing cast.
