The two-part story that began last week concludes with the new episode "Linchpin," which finds Castle and Beckett (Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic) racing the clock to stop a chain of events that could plunge the United States into war. Jennifer Beals returns as CIA agent Sophia Conrad, who was the inspiration for one of Castle's literary characters. Josh Stamberg also guest stars.
