The Winchesters have literally been to Hell and back, but there are only so many times you can cheat death. So has Sam's (Jared Padalecki) luck run out?
In the extended promo for Supernatural's Season 9 premiere, Dean (Jensen Ackles) remains hopeful about his brother's condition, promising, "Just because you're dying doesn't mean you're dead. We're gonna fight this." Unfortunately, Sam isn't too confident, telling his brother, "There's nothing left to fight for..."
Supernatural season nine premieres on a new night - Tuesday - October 8, 2013 at 9/8C on The CW.
