7:00 PM A Chill Goes Through Her Veins
A woman found frozen at a construction site leads Beckett and Castle (Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion) to reopen a cold case. The probe into the victim's past stirs up unpleasant memories for Beckett, which provides Castle with new book material.
Guest stars include Bill Smitrovich, Charles Malik Whitfield, Channon Roe, Peter Jason, Kerrie Keane, Erin Matthews and K Callan.
Here in Ontario, Space channel showed a Castle marathon on the holiday long weekend. All my favorite nerdy references to Nathan Fillion's space-cowboy Mal Reynolds on Firefly. He sent citizen bystanders to safety by quoting Chinese expression ~"This crazy woman will start shooting" about partner Kate Beckett, blaming "Joss Whedon show I liked".
ReplyDeleteWhen reviewing DVD of Firefly season on blog, in Extras, Nathan said the stars worked so hard to learn Chinese for Firefly, they still remember much, him proven. A+ "Shiny" stars. Finally, a favorite show that has not been cancelled.
Maybe Antipodal will also be able to tell us if/ when Castle invites guest stars from Firefly for one of their special theme shows like #16 Vampire Weekend like Buffy where he wears Mal costume, or #87 The Final Frontier trek-type convention directed by Star Trek Next Gen Jonathan Frakes?
