As you might guess from its title, the new episode "The Angels Take Manhattan" involves a confrontation with the infamous Weeping Angels in New York. It also involves the departure of Amy and Rory (Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill) under what the producers are calling "heartbreaking" circumstances. Viewers will meet the Doctor's (Matt Smith) newest companion, Clara Oswin (Jenna-Louise Coleman), in the next Christmas special.
