Better known to Westerners as "Godzilla," the granddaddy of all Japanese monster movies from the 1950s and '60s stars an enormous prehistoric creature awakened from a centuries-long slumber thanks to that fabled monster creator of the time: nuclear testing. Stomping ensues. Don't look for Raymond Burr; this is the original Japanese version of the tale, not the one cobbled together for U.S. audiences.
