A riveting, high-concept murder mystery that involves vanishing victims and an untouchable killer. Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) meet a woman from Castle's past (Jennifer Beals, fun and frisky) who's full of secrets, as well as a scientist (Timothy Carhart) with a potentially catastrophic theory code-named Pandora. Castle/Beckett shippers will relish the abundance of hilarious self-awareness: "What if this upsets the delicate synergy of our partnership? Major problem!" says Castle. Is this the linchpin episode that begins to bring them together? Pandora's box indeed.
