Maverick Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell (Ben Browder) takes over SG-1 and investigates the mystery behind a mystic tablet stolen by Vala (Claudia Black), who believes it's linked to a missing treasure. Beau Bridges joins the cast as Gen. Hank Landry, head of Stargate Command, while Richard Dean Anderson has a cameo as Jack O'Neill.

4:30 PM Avalon - Part 2

While they're bound together by her Jaffa bracelets, Daniel and Vala (Claudia Black) are transported to another galaxy after he activates an Ancients' communication device. But their arrival in a strange village is interpreted as a threat by the superstitious locals.

Also: Teal'c and Landry are locked in negotiations with Gerak (Louis Gossett Jr.) regarding the structure of the Jaffa government; and Mitchell returns from his planetary visit with a Prior, whom he hopes holds the key to bringing Daniel and Vala back to Stargate Command.
