What's a Mystic Falls dance without a whole lot of mayhem? While Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) try to coax Elena (Nina Dobrev) into turning her humanity back on, Rebekah (Claire Holt) attempts to convince Elijah (Daniel Gillies) that she's worthy of the cure. Meanwhile, Silas makes a major move. It all culminates in big reveals, twists, turns, and, yes, romance (this is the prom episode, after all!). Nearly every couple and non-couple (Caroline and Klaus FTW!) gets the kind of swoony (or, in some cases, angsty) moment that they — okay, fine, we — won't soon forget.
