"That same theme song for 25 years!" That was Lou Diamond Phillips talking about "La Bamba", the movie that made him a star.
In his new movie, Phillips plays the father of a young aspiring hip hop artist in "Filly Brown." He shares the screen with the late Jenni Rivera.
Phillips talked about how lucky he's been in his career, especially now with roles in "Longmire" and "Southland."
Things also turned serious when the actor pulled no punches talking about the horrific attack that took place in Boston on Monday...
