... 3. Saddest Heartbreak: Yes, The Vampire Diaries killed off Jeremy, but it's Caroline and Tyler's goodbye that wrecks us. With Klaus having no reason to keep Tyler alive, Caroline pleads with the Original to show him mercy. So when Klaus says that Tyler could get a head start and leave town, Caroline is forced to say her hysterical goodbye to her love again. Happy Valentine's Day to you too!
