Forever a favorite of "Star Trek" fans as Mr. Sulu, George Takei -- also a popular Internet presence these days -- guest stars as Chin's (Daniel Dae Kim) uncle in the new episode "Kahu" (translation: "Guardian"). Interestingly, Takei also appeared in a 1975 story on the original incarnation of this series. Unlike Ed Asner's recent appearances here, though, Takei's character back then and the one he plays in this tale aren't the same.
