As the new series of the fantasy drama comes to BBC1, Merlin star Bradley James reveals that King Arthur's Camelot is still under threat...
... Q: How has the death of King Uther affected Arthur?
Bradley James: "Whenever you lose anyone there will be moments in your life when you take time to reflect on that person and, when you do, they can be quite heavy times. It is touched on in this series, for Arthur, because although it is three years on, the audience are still adjusting. So there is a moment to respect the idea that Arthur has come from the tutelage of his father - because from an audience point of view he has only recently departed..."
Merlin 5 premieres on Saturday, October 6 at 7.45pm on BBC1.
Merlin season five premieres in the US on Syfy on Friday, January 4, 2013.
