Dr. Lynn Snyder (Mariel Hemingway) leads the survivors of a zombie apocalypse in search of a cure for the undead after their Alcatraz refuge is overrun. (Two words: swimming zombies.) What should be a straightforward gorefest is weighed down by medical lingo, ruminations on God, and too much emotion. Enough crying — more stomping on babies!
