Hercules: The Legendary Journeys cast includes Kevin Sorbo as Hercules and Michael Hurst as Iolaus. This series ran from 1995-1999 in syndication.
Tongue-in-cheek derring-do about the mythical strongman and his quest to battle evil while avenging the death of his wife and children. Filmed in New Zealand, the hit syndicated series was introduced in 1994 with five two-hour TV movies and inspired the wildly popular `Xena: Warrior Princess.'
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys airs at 11/10C and repeats at 5AM weekdays on HUB.

Sept. 4 05:00AM The Wrong Path (Pilot Episode)
Hercules (Kevin Sorbo), the half-god son of Zeus, witnesses the murder of his wife and sons by his evil stepmother, Hera, and, after vowing to avenge their deaths, sets out to destroy Hera's temples with his friend Iolaus (Michael Hurst), who is turned into stone by a she-demon.
Guest stars include Clare Carey, Mick Rose, Nicky Mealings, Elizabeth Hawthorne, Martyn Sanderson and Tawny Kitaen.
Sept. 4 11:00PM Eye of the Beholder
The village people want Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) to take out a menacing Cyclops who diverted their river, but, after learning that the beast's actions may be justifiable, he instead enlists the help of an open-minded villager and attempts to befriend the beast.

Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) is asked by a group of refugees fleeing the village of Parthus to help them in fending off a sudden onslaught of Hera's attacks; Hercules finds out that Hera's wrath fell on the group after the leader of the refugees stole one of her cups.
Guest stars include Norman Forsey, Portia Dawson, John Sumner, Peter Rowley, Sela Brown, Stephen Papps, André Kovachevitch, Maggie Tarver, Christopher Saunoa and Emma Turner.

Just before a traditional festival celebrating Dionysus is supposed to be held, Queen Camilla of Meliad asks Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) to convince King Iphicles that the celebration needs to be canceled, as Dionysus has possibly made plans to have the king killed.
