Season Premiere: The Doctor is in! BBC’s cult sci-fi hit returns for a seventh season in its current incarnation, with Matt Smith starring as the time-traveling doc. And the Doctor may be flying solo soon enough as he prepares to say goodbye to loyal companions Amy and Rory this season. But first, the team must battle an old foe when the Doctor finds himself kidnapped by robotic villains the Daleks and retreats to a creepy intergalactic prison known as the Asylum.
