JUSTIFIED - WCSX: NEAL MCDONOUGH AUDIO INTERVIEW
3/5/2012
by Jim O'Brien
I've said this a couple of times -- and I'll say it again. "Justified" on FX (Tuesday at 10pm) is my favorite show on television -- not because it was created by Elmore Leonard (who's a Detroit treasure) -- not because the lead character is as cool as it gets on TV (Raylan Givens played by Timothy Olyphant). It's the best show on TV because of the writing and the acting...and this season has started so strong because of the interplay between characters like Boyd Crowder and new "carpetbagger" bad guy from Detroit - Robert Quarles. He's played by Neal McDonough (Band of Brothers, Captain America, Flags of our Fathers and many more). Listen to our conversation about the show (who's going to be a bigger pain to his character - Boyd or Rayland?, what scene was so powerful the actors hugged when it was done?)
