When Elyan (Adetomiwa Edun) drinks from the well at a shrine to slain druids, he is possessed by the spirit of a dead boy who bewitches him into trying to kill Arthur (Bradley James) because his father killed druids. After one unsuccessful attempt on his life, Arthur joins Merlin (Colin Morgan) in pursuing Elyan back to the shrine, where they receive a surprising and hopeful revelation, in the new episode "A Herald of the New Age."
