Having not only survived, but thrived, with the addition of Ted Danson as this show’s central star, CSI now makes its second major casting move of the season, finding a female lead to replace the departed Marg Helgenberger. The new arrival is Elisabeth Shue, who ought to be another good fit. And she’s no stranger to TV, either – she first drew notice as a sensitive teenager in ABC’s Call to Glory, way back in 1984.
