Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau plays Jaime Lannister in the highly acclaimed show "Game of Thrones". He speaks about his sudden fame when he started his acting career, how much he likes the show's fanbase and he teases a bit about season 2, which is going to be aired in the U.S. on HBO and in Germany on TNT Serie...

... Q: Jaime Lannister on "Game of Thrones" season 1 is a charming yet ruthless character. What do you personally think about him?
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: "What's not to like about Jaime? As an actor I couldn't ask for a better role...."
Q: The book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" has a very passionate and dedicated fanbase. What was the most remarkable fan feedback you've got for your perfomance on "Game of Thrones"?
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: "I was very lucky to be invited to ComiCon last year. To meet the fans and feel their passion for the show was exhilirating. The one response Re. I am most pleased about is that he isn't seen as just another evil villain. But that has less to do with my work and everything to do with the writing of D.B. Weiss, David Benioff and obviously George R. R. Martin..."
Game of Thrones season two premieres Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 9/8C on HBO.
