When a gang member is stopped with a young woman's dug-up corpse in his trunk, an investigation of her gravesite leads Booth and Brennan to a second empty grave.

When the body of an aspiring singer (Ace Young of "American Idol") is discovered, Booth and Brennan probe a club's open-mike night, where they encounter the deceased's friends, rivals and one dangerously obsessed fan.

Meanwhile, Sweets intervenes when Angela's father, ZZ Top guitarist Billy F. Gibbons, comes looking for Hodgins.

5:00 PM The Passenger in the Oven
On a trip to China to inspect prehistoric remains, Brennan and Booth try to solve the airborne murder of a travel writer, but the pair must find the killer before the plane lands in Shanghai and takes the case out of U.S. jurisdiction. Meanwhile, Hodgins tries to come to terms with Angela's new relationship.

6:00 PM Harbingers in the Fountain
In the fifth-season premiere, work resumes for Brennan, who's back from a dig in Guatemala, and Booth, anxious to return to duty six weeks after his brain surgery, when Angela's psychic (Cyndi Lauper) suggests there are bodies buried under a fountain in Washington, D.C.

Brennan and Booth go to New Mexico to investigate the remains of a die-hard UFO believer---with extraterrestrial characteristics---but the work must be done via satellite when the local authorities won't give up the bones. Meanwhile, Angela and intern Wendell divulge their relationship.
