Fox's mind-bending series "Fringe" might be over, but the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of the fifth and final season will satisfy fanatics in need of more alternate-universe fodder.
In this exclusive sneak peek at bonus footage from the DVDs, creator J. J. Abrams discusses the show's pilot and the sci-fi drama's origins: "'Fringe' is my favorite kind of show because it takes people that you really like, that you really care about, that you want to be with and work with and know, and it puts them into the scariest situations you've ever seen in your life. There are some scenes in this pilot that I think are straight out of my and our nightmares..."
"Fringe: The Complete Fifth Season" is available on DVD and Blu-ray, and for download on Tuesday, May 7.
