Based on the first in a series of holiday mystery novels by Mary Higgins Clark and her daughter, Carol Higgins Clark, this TV movie finds cleaning woman-turned-private eye Alvirah Meegan (Kathy Najimy) teaming up with Detective Regan Reilly (Scottie Thompson) to solve the kidnapping of Regan's dad (David Selby) and a young female driver. Jane Alexander and Larry Miller also star.
