Season Premiere: AMC’s dusty post-Civil War Western saddles up for its sophomore season this week, with Anson Mount back as former Confederate soldier (and expert beard-grower) Cullen Bohannon. Anson pushes his construction crew to finish work on their portion of a transcontinental railroad. But forces both from within (the slimy Doc Durant) and without (rampaging Native Americans) put Anson and his crew’s livelihoods -- and lives -- at risk.
